DEPOIS DA CHUVA

A chuva caiu forte.
O vento cantava ao som da chuva.
Era quase uma tempestade.
Fiquei bem quieta, esperando.
Diz um ditado popular:
" Não há mal que sempre dure,
nem bem que nunca se acabe."
Então. esperei.
A chuva passou,
o vento se aquietou.
Abri a porta de meu esconderijo,
e elá estava ela,
 a minha azaleia,
 mais linda do que nunca,
a me observar.
Sorri para ela.
Ela resistiu!!!
Também posso resistir.

Aquietai-vos, e sabei que eu sou Deus;
serei exaltado entre os gentios; serei exaltado sobre a terra."

  1. Hello Miriam Luiza,
I've been away for so long I'd nearly forgotten how beautifully you put words together. Brought tears to my eyes reading your greeting with your very lovely Azalea. And it really is lovely, the drenching it received would have felt very refreshing.
Azaleas are gorgeous flowers, so delicate yet still hardy. They brighten any day when in bloom.

Your Blog Banner is truly gorgeous, so many blossoms. African Violets I believe can be so temperamental, yet yours is happily flourishing. Well done.

Your are so fortunate to have had such a rich down-pouring of rain. Here in Australia we've had a very dry hot Summer, drought conditions in general. Now Autumn has begun, and only a few light showers. The Farmers will have it hard this Winter. But that's Australia, it is either raining so much there are floods, or hardly any rain, like has been, and we're in drought, and Bush Fires during Summer abound whether there a floods or drought, yet Australia is still a beautiful country.

Wonderful to be visiting here again.
